The franchise problem

Your Franchise Has Hundreds Of Customer Relationships. Why Hand Them All To Someone Else?

Marketplaces can be valuable for customer acquisition and reach. But franchise groups increasingly need a direct channel as well — one where customers order through the brand and the business controls the experience.

Marketplace channel
Customer Marketplace Store

Reach and discovery, but the ordering experience and customer relationship sit inside someone else’s platform.

Direct channel
Customer YOUR BRAND Doorbell Store + Delivery

Customers order through your brand. Doorbell runs the ordering and delivery infrastructure behind it.

Marketplace AND direct. Not marketplace OR direct.

Doorbell gives franchise groups the infrastructure for the direct side of that strategy.

Franchise FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Doorbell work with our existing website?

Yes. You can keep your existing website and connect it to Doorbell where technically possible, or Doorbell can provide a branded ordering website.

Can Doorbell integrate with our existing app?

Yes, where technically possible. Your existing app can keep taking orders and pass delivery orders to Doorbell. If you need a new app, Doorbell can provide branded iOS and Android apps.

Do we have to replace our POS?

No. Doorbell connects to your existing POS or ordering system where technically possible. No integration is needed to start a pilot: staff can enter delivery orders in the Doorbell portal app, or a lightweight webhook can send them automatically.

Does Doorbell provide drivers?

Yes. Doorbell provides managed delivery: driver dispatch, drivers, live tracking, delivery confirmation and customer care. Franchisees don’t need to build their own driver fleet.

Can we start with only one franchise location?

Yes. A pilot can run on a single branch, or on up to three selected branches.

Can we run a pilot before committing to a rollout?

Yes. Doorbell’s standard pilot is free and designed to run for 30 days across 1–3 selected branches, allowing the business to evaluate the model using real orders before considering a wider rollout. No national commitment is required to run the pilot.

Can Doorbell support hundreds of stores?

Doorbell is multi-store by design: each store is set up with its own menu, delivery zones and trading hours, while head office sees activity across the network. Larger networks are rolled out in stages — selected stores or regions first — once the pilot has proven the model.

Does Doorbell provide customer support?

Yes. Doorbell supports customers from order placement through to delivery. If a delivery is going to miss its ETA, the customer is contacted proactively.

Can customers track their deliveries?

Yes. Customers get live delivery tracking plus order and delivery notifications by WhatsApp or SMS.

Can Doorbell provide branded iOS and Android apps?

Yes. Doorbell provides branded iOS and Android customer apps under your brand, alongside branded web ordering.

Can customers order through WhatsApp?

Yes. With WhatsApp Commerce, customers browse specials and product carousels in WhatsApp, check out on a branded page, pay and track their delivery — no app download needed.

How long does a pilot run?

Doorbell’s standard pilot is free and designed to run for 30 days across 1–3 selected branches, allowing the business to evaluate the model using real orders before considering a wider rollout.
